Spot the Wrangler ….
Standing among the cameras and lights, props, grips, sound technicians, and an occasionally over-stressed Director, is the Animal Wrangler. Working with only hand gestures, it is their job to direct the animal actors to hit their marks. Sometimes these professionals need to get into wardrobe and work their magic in front of the camera too, without you ever seeing their cues.
The One with Meryl ….
We've worked with everything from trick horses, moose mascots, big cats and charging Brahma bulls... to scorpions, rats, beavers, lemurs, monkey bartenders, gargling roosters and break-dancing ducks. We’ve trained horses to jump off trains, deer to stand on cars, ravens to fly from A to B and cats to Emcee. Some of the actors and actresses who have worked with our animals include Meryl Streep, Jon Voight, John Stamos, Katie Holmes, The Olsen Twins and Viggo Mortensen, to name but a few. Canadian Wrangler can meet and coordinate all of your production’s needs.
